Share metric images

Copy or download branded chart images from the site dashboard for social posts and updates.

Kobbe lets you turn the main overview chart into a branded image you can copy or download. Use it for social posts, launch updates, investor snapshots, or anywhere you want a clean traffic chart without rebuilding the graphic by hand.

The image uses the current dashboard time range, the KPI selected in the KPI strip, and your site timezone.

How to share a metric

  1. Open the site in Kobbe.
  2. Choose the time range and KPI you want to show.
  3. On the main traffic chart, click the share icon in the chart header.
  4. Pick a background color for the exported frame.
  5. Use the sun/moon control next to the color chips to switch the card between light and dark without changing your app theme.
  6. Click Copy to paste the image into another app, or Download to save a PNG file.

The preview shows a landscape card with the metric name, headline value, range label, chart, and kobbe.io branding.

What is included

Each share image includes:

  • The selected KPI name and formatted value for the active range.
  • A range label such as Last 30 days or Last 30 days vs previous period when a comparison is enabled.
  • The main traffic chart for that KPI and range.
  • A solid background color around the card.

Share images reflect dashboard filters and the KPI you selected before opening the share dialog. They do not include dashboard notes, pinned chart tooltips, or breakdown tables.

Background colors

Choose one of six background colors before exporting:

  • Blue
  • Green
  • Gold
  • Orange
  • Off white
  • Dark

The range indicator chip on the card matches the selected background for color themes. On the off-white and dark backgrounds, it uses a solid black dot on a light card and a solid white dot on a dark card so it stays readable.

Tips

  • Switch KPIs in the strip first if you want visits, views, bounce rate, session time, or revenue instead of visitors.
  • Enable a comparison on the dashboard if you want the range label to mention the comparison window.
  • Use Copy for quick posts in Slack, X, or LinkedIn. Use Download when you need to attach the PNG to email or design tools.
